SmartWay Driving is part of its parent company, Comedy Driving, Inc., which has been in the defensive driving industry for over 15 years, teaching thousands of students every month driving safety techniques. In 2020 Comedy Driving decided to take its expertise in education and develop an online Parent-Taught Driver's Education course. This course is the accumulation of years of experience in online education and driving techniques.
In 2022 Smart Way Driving was formed to provide online driver's education and in-person Driver's Ed in the Houston Area. Now teens can take their course in a traditional classroom setting and in-car with our professional instructors. Also, in 2022, Smart Way Driving released its Texas Adult Driver's Education Course for those who are 18-24 years old and need to get their license.
